About the Role
The Collective Implementation Specialist at Health New Zealand Southern implements and maintains the collective agreement that are used in Health New Zealand. The Southern payroll function pay 6300 approx employees throughout the Southern region and are part of the Health New Zealand network paying over 100000 employees. Our team is an experienced friendly and hard-working they support each other to provide the best possible service for the organisation.
In this role you will be providing support advice and above all an efficient and accurate service across our diverse organisation. Along with our existing administrators the key responsibilities of your role will be:
Support the Implementation of agreements
Maintain employees on the correct agreements
Providing advice to both employees and management
Ensuring you keep informed and up to date with relevant legislation

About you
We are on the lookout for a team player who will bring their extensive knowledge and experience within payroll to actively contribute to the smooth running of the service. Our ideal candidate will have the following:
Commercial payroll experience and a broad understanding of the end-to-end payroll process
High levels of computer literacy particularly within Excel and other Microsoft applications
Strong attention to detail
Flexibility in your approach and the ability to work well in an agile environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
Competency with te ao Māori tikanga and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
