Job Summary
Overview
Armoured One LLC located in Syracuse NY is recruiting for a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant under the direction of the Director of Finance will support day-to-day transactions and month end closing to support their glass department.. Responsibilities include assisting with accounting finance and compliance.
This position is a full time onsite Exempt position. Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Remote work is not offered.
Armoured Ones goal is to deter prevent defend and protect against an Active Shooter or deadly aggressive behavior incident with solutions that save lives.

Responsibilities
- Review and analyze the department budget with the departments
- Determination of prevailing wages for accurate certified Payroll.
- Assist with sales & use tax filings
- Accounts Payable reconciliation
- Support month end closing as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2 years of accounting experience preferably in construction or contracting.
- Strong knowledge of Prevailing wage regulations financial reporting and accrual accounting practices.
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
Skills and Abilities:
- Microsoft Office 365
- Google Suite
- High level of integrity.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Clear understanding of data privacy standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Rootstock QuickBooks com) preferred.
