What is the Opportunity

We are seeking a dependable safetyfocused operator who can efficiently operate overhead cranes to lift move and position materials and equipment. The ideal candidate pays close attention to load safety follows written verbal and signal instructions and operates crane controls with precision. This role requires regular inspection cleaning lubrication and maintenance of equipment as well as reporting defects or malfunctions. The company values individuals who meet OSHA physical requirements and can work in challenging conditions including confined spaces elevated heights outdoor environments temperature extremes and while wearing respiratory protection. Flexibility is important as duties may shift throughout a project based on work needs.


What Youll Do Here:

  • Operate traveling or stationary overhead cranes to lift and move materials and equipment.
  • Safely attach loads using hooks slings buckets or other hoisting devices.
  • Observe load hookups and assess load safety before and during operation.
  • Control crane movements using pedals levers and buttons according to instructions or signals.
  • Inspect cranes and hoisting mechanisms for defects or malfunctions.
  • Clean lubricate fuel and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Report mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Comply with OSHA requirements and work safely while using required protective equipment.
