We are currently seeking a Elastic Engineer to join our team in Bangalore Karnātaka (IN-KA) India (IN).

Once You Are Here You Will:

• Lead client discovery sessions document solution requirements and offer optimal solutions.
• Question requirements and proposed solutions providing better alternatives with pros and cons.
• Assist with the architecture and configuration of development environments and deployment procedures.
• Contribute as a strong individual contributor working within timelines and budgets to meet or exceed project success criteria.
• Collaborate effectively with multiple NTT DATA and client teams.
• Design architect and implement highly available scalable and secure Elastic Stack solutions for:
• Work in an agile rapid development environment.
• Drive project scope and timeline definition based on collaborative needs assessments.
• Propose technology solutions that enable businesses to meet or exceed their goals.
• Manage SDLC processes and associated artifacts.
• Design and code from specifications. Analyze evaluate test debug document and implement complex software applications.
• Search
• Log analytics
• Metrics
• APM
• Security (SIEM)
• Lead end-to-end Elastic implementations including:
  • Elasticsearch cluster design
  • Index lifecycle management (ILM)
  • Sharding and replication strategies
• Define best practices standards and reference architectures for Elastic deployments.
• Design and optimize search solutions with:
  • Advanced mappings and analyzers
  • Full-text search aggregations and relevance tuning
  • Query and indexing performance optimization
• Build and manage data ingestion pipelines using:
  • Logstash
  • Beats (Filebeat Metricbeat Auditbeat Packetbeat)
  • Elastic Agent and Fleet
  • Custom ingestion using APIs or Kafka
• Implement enterprise-grade observability platforms using:
  • Elastic APM
  • Metrics and logs correlation
  • Distributed tracing
• Define dashboards alerts and SLO/SLA monitoring using Kibana.
• Implement Elastic Security features:
  • Role-based access control (RBAC)
  • TLS encryption and secure cluster communication
  • Audit logging and compliance controls
• Support SIEM use cases detections and integrations with security tools.
• Deploy and manage Elastic on:
  • AWS Azure or GCP
  • Kubernetes (ECK Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes)
• Automate deployments using:
  • Terraform / ARM / CloudFormation
  • CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps GitHub Actions Jenkins)
• Support containerized and hybrid environments.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• 10 to 12 years of IT experience.
• 7 years of Elastic Stack experience in production environments
• Experience supporting large-scale mission-critical systems
• 4 Years experience in scripting/programming:
  • Python Bash or similar
• 3 years Experience with REST APIs and JSON-based data modeling.
• Strong expertise in Elasticsearch internals:
  • Indexing querying shards segments
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Elasticsearch
  • Kibana
  • Logstash
  • Beats / Elastic Agent
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Experience deploying Elastic on AWS / Azure / GCP.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with monitoring tools and integrations.

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelors degree in software development or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Elastic certifications (Engineer / Observability / Security)
• Experience with Kafka or other streaming platforms
• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry
• Experience migrating from:
  • Splunk
  • OpenSearch
  • Other logging/search platforms to Elastic
• Exposure to enterprise SIEM and SOC operations
