Ingredion is seeking a highly experienced Procurement Execution Lead LATAM to strengthen our procurement operations across the region. This role combines hands-on transactional execution with leadership and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure procurement excellence policy compliance and value creation.

As a Procurement Execution Lead LATAM you will execute and lead transactional procurement activities while driving process improvements supporting regional buyers and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and KPIs across LATAM operations.

This role partners cross-functionally with Buyers Accounts Payable Procurement Operations and suppliers across the region and acts as a point of escalation and subject matter expert.

What will you do:

• Execute end-to-end transactional procurement activities including processing Purchase Orders for MRP and Non-MRP requisitions (services CapEx packaging and chemicals) ensuring accuracy timeliness and policy compliance.
• Monitor track and report procurement KPIs and SLAs actively participating in the calculation analysis and communication of performance results to support operational excellence.
• Maintain and manage procurement master data including Purchasing Information Records Source Lists and supplier master data performing both individual and mass updates as required.
• Lead supplier engagement and purchase order follow-up ensuring timely deliveries managing large-scale PO closures and mitigating supply or delivery risks.
• Partner with Accounts Payable Procurement Operations and internal stakeholders to resolve issues related to purchase requisitions invoices vendor communications and discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to core procurement policies and controls acting as a subject matter expert and escalation point for transactional and compliance-related issues.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives proactively identifying opportunities through data analysis to enhance efficiency optimize spend and reduce risk.
• Act as a point of escalation and mentor to procurement team members providing guidance best-practice support and leadership in complex or high-impact situations.
• Collaborate with regional and global buyers to share best practices and resources supporting cross-regional alignment operational consistency and continuous capability development.

What you will bring:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment including strong leadership exposure.
• Fluency in Portuguese (written and spoken) and strong ability to operate in a regional LATAM context.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• SAP experience is required; SAP Ariba experience is a plus.
• Experience working in a shared services environment is preferred.
