Energy Portfolio Analyst

• Daily scheduling submissions for purchase of customer consumption quantities in Retail in Nat. Gas and Power markets
• Monitor daily schedules resolve discrepancies and coordinate with relevant market operators (e.g. HENEX ADMIE HEDNO DESFA ENAON) to ensure compliance
• Assist in analyzing energy consumption and market trends to identify optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with the team to provide actionable insights from customer data analysis to enhance portfolio performance
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes procedures and regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with external parties including market operators counterparties and regulatory bodies to resolve scheduling issues and ensure alignment
• Assist in the development of forecasting models digital tools and applications to improve operational efficiency
• Assist in the settlements process monitor and validate transaction data to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Support the team in handling any procedures related to portfolio management transactions

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Finance Economics or Mathematics
• Masters degree in Economics or Energy would be considered a plus
• Strong understanding of energy markets
• Professional experience in Greek energy markets would be considered a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; Programming and database skills preferably in Python and SQL is a plus
• Communication Skills: Strong command of the English language
• Detail-oriented and a structured and strategic approach to problem solving
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to take initiative
• Ability to manage dynamic project requirements and shifting priorities
• Ability to collaborate with development and other teams
• Analytical thinking and critical reasoning
