Local System Administrator

Are you ready to discover the role of a Local System Administrator in Netcompany

As a Local System Administrator you will:

• Administer systems and applications with local operational impact ensuring stability performance and security.
• Install configure and maintain system components and server software.
• Perform incident management including analysis troubleshooting and resolution of hardware and software issues; coordinate with internal IT teams and third-party vendors as needed.
• Integrate servers into the local IT environment and maintain up-to-date documentation including server procedures and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage user accounts permissions and access rights within a Windows environment.
• Monitor server performance and oversee the administration of local file and print services.
• Execute backup and restore operations for user data and system configurations ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Monitor and manage network resources including shared drives printers and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint. 

Qualifications :

What would make you a fit for the role: 

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science IT or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in system administration.
• Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of IT hardware and software in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server Red Hat Enterprise Linux SharePoint and network storage solutions.
• Proficiency in IT management and monitoring tools with the ability to work independently.
• Solid understanding of user administration system security and access control.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation. 
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification is a strong asset.
