Unit Catering Supervisor (Grade 3) 27.5hrs per week

Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire serving over 60000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service.

You will lead and work as part of a team within Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Primary School Blackburn producing fresh high quality healthy balanced meals to school children each day. You must have previous experience in kitchens. With a proven track record in similar position.

Key responsibilities:

Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plans.

Direct and/or supervise other employees.

Order supplies and store deliveries

Maintain records and stock control.

What we are looking for:

Recognised catering qualification and/or food hygiene certificate would be desirable.

Experience of catering for large numbers is also desirable.

Working Hours 27.5 per week 5.5 hours per day. Monday Friday Term time only.

Plus four cleaning days.

This position is part time and term time only please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis
