About This Job
NIQ is seeking a Manager Commercial Data to own the definition quality and governance of the data that underpins how we sell price and go to market. This is a highly visible handson role focused on ensuring commercial sales and product data is trusted consistent and fit for purpose across systems reporting and decisionmaking.
This role sits at the intersection of Commercial Sales Operations Product Finance and Technology. Rather than managing a team youll act as a functional expert and enterprise owner setting standards driving data quality and enabling reliable insights that support selling effectiveness and business transformation.
Responsibilities
- Own endtoend accountability for commercial sales and product data used in selling activities across the enterprise
- Define and govern data models hierarchies attributes and standards across the full data lifecycle
- Establish and continuously improve data quality controls validation rules and rootcause resolution processes
- Ensure accurate and consistent application of data across CRM pricing reporting and downstream platforms (e.g. finance and customer service systems)
- Partner closely with Sales Operations Commercial Product Finance Technology and Data teams to align data to business priorities
- Enable trusted dashboards KPIs and analytics by ensuring governed reliable datasets
- Support business change initiatives by ensuring data readiness for new products pricing changes and gotomarket updates
- Drive simplification and scalability by improving documentation controls and data processes while reducing manual effort
Qualifications :
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in data management data ownership enterprise data governance or closely related roles
- Extensive experience working with commercial sales product and pricing data within a revenuedriven environment
- Proven track record of defining data standards and improving data quality across complex systems and full data lifecycles
- Handson experience working with CRM ERP pricing and reporting platforms
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior individual contributor influencing senior stakeholders and driving outcomes without formal people management responsibilities
- Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills with comfort operating across ambiguity and largescale transformation initiatives
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience; advanced or graduate degree preferred
Additional Information :
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $117250.00 - $125000.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidates experience qualifications skills and location. This role is eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
