Position Summary
The EventHouseman is responsible for the physical execution of event setups and resetsthroughout Pier 57 ensuring all spaces reflect City Winerys elevatedaesthetic and hospitality standards. This role supports the Events FOH BOHand Facilities teams by preparing rooms moving equipment maintainingcleanliness and responding quickly to operational needs during live events.

Thisposition is ideal for someone who is detailoriented reliable and thrives in a fastpaced guestfocusedenvironment.

Overview of Responsibilities

EventSetup & Breakdown

Execute event layoutsincluding tables chairs staging décor linens signage and AV equipment.

Follow detailed floor plansand instructions from the Events and Operations teams.

Reset rooms efficientlybetween events ensuring readiness for the next function.

Assist with load ins and loadouts for clients vendors and production teams.

OperationalSupport

Maintain cleanliness andorganization of event spaces storage rooms and equipment areas.

Support FOH teams duringevents with replenishment furniture adjustments and guest flow needs.

Respond to real time requestsfrom Event Managers including room flips equipment moves andtroubleshooting.

Ensure all equipment ishandled safely and stored properly after use.

Safety& Facility Standards

Follow all safety protocolsrelated to lifting equipment handling and venue operations.

Report maintenance issueshazards or equipment needs to the Operations Manager.

Support compliance with CityWinerys cleanliness sanitation and brand standards.

Minimum Qualifications

12 years of experience in events hospitality facilitiesor related operational roles preferred.

Ability to lift move and carry up to 50 lbs and performphysical tasks for extended periods.

Comfortable working evenings weekends and holidays based onevent schedules.

Strong communication skills and ability to take directionfrom multiple departments.

Reliable punctual and committed to delivering highquality work.

Experience in highvolume or multispace venues is a plus.
