We seek a Communication Manager who thrives on creating powerful human stories that connect people to purpose and business this role you will drive integrated storytelling across both external and internal platforms harnessing digital channels and social media to amplify our impact. You will bring Santens strategy and vision to life engaging employees as our greatest ambassadors while also shaping how we show up in the world.
Position based in Switzerland ideally Geneva with flexibility for other locations within the country.
This role reports to the Associate Director of Communications EMEA and is based in Switzerland.
You will work as part of a small but ambitious team where your ideas and creativity will be valued. You will play a key role in building strong foundations for our communications while influencing long-term strategy and driving engagement with our Medium-Term Management Plan (MTP2029). You will partner with leaders across EMEA Japan and globally bringing fresh thinking cultural sensitivity and a can-do mindset to every challenge.

Key activities & Accountabilities
- Develop and deliver integrated communication plans that tell Santens story in a way that inspires informs and engages both internal and external audiences
- Create compelling people-centered content for our social media channels corporate website and employee platforms working closely with colleagues across EMEA and our global corporate communications team in Japan
- Lead initiatives that build Santens brand reputation and credibility as a leader in eye health
- Drive employee engagement by activating our strategy and purpose ensuring our people are informed inspired and empowered to act as ambassadors for Santen
- Support the migration of our corporate website ensuring it reflects our bold ambitions and provides an excellent user experience
- Use data and insights to measure the impact of communications to drive business results continuously improving how we connect with our audiences
- Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to deliver high-quality content and campaigns that drive business objectives and enhance Santens corporate value
Qualifications :
- Degree in Communications Marketing Digital Media or a related field
- Significant experience (typically 5 years) in communications ideally in an international environment and with experience in the healthcare industry
- Proven expertise in digital content creation social media and integrated storytelling
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear engaging messages
- Experience managing websites content management systems and supporting digital transformation projects
- Proven ability to work effectively in an international multicultural environment
- Strategic thinker with strong project management skills and high attention to detail
- Collaborative team player who brings initiative and a results-focused mindset
- Fluency in English is a must and knowledge of multiple languages is a plus particularly languages relevant to the EMEA region
