BioCore is an international trading company that has been active since 1991 in the trade of organic grains oilseeds pulses by-products and cacao. Our products are sourced and sold globally to customers in both the feed and food industries.

Long-standing relationships with both suppliers and clients are the foundation of our business. These partnerships combined with many years of experience in the organic sector and our robust quality systems enable us to deliver reliable high-quality organic products to our customers.

Our mission: BioCore plays an active role in the development of fair organic farming across the world. We pursue this mission by trading certified organic raw materials and by supporting and working sustainably with organic farmers.

The role
As a Trader youre responsible for independently executing international trade transactions in grains oilseeds and feed and food ingredients within BioCores frameworks. This includes managing the entire process from contract negotiation to completion including entering contracts into internal systems monitoring deliveries with the logistics department and supporting accounts receivable control. You will oversee both purchases and sales playing a key role in achieving commercial objectives while maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers. This role also involves regular visits to suppliers customers and trade shows.

Your responsibilities include:

• Independently initiate negotiate and conclude international trade contracts within established guidelines.

• Enter and manage concluded contracts in internal systems.

• Monitor the proper execution of contracts and act where necessary.

• Support accounts receivable monitoring and identify payment risks.

• Track market developments and price movements to capitalize on commercial opportunities.

• Build and maintain sustainable relationships with customers suppliers and logistics partners.

• Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Finance Logistics and Quality to ensure smooth transaction processing.

• Report trading activities and results to management.

Who you are
Most important is that you have a play-to-win mentality. To be successful it is important to be commercially driven and have an entrepreneurial spirit. You can work both independently and with people from all layers within our organization. Furthermore youre hands-on stress-resilient and analytically addition you can identify with the following requirements:

• Bachelors or masters degree in (International) Trade Economics or a related field.

• Experience in international commodity trading is a strong advantage.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex trading scenarios.

• Analytical ability and a keen sense for commercial opportunities.

• Proficiency in English (and preferably other languages).

• Proactive and independent work attitude stress-resistant and result-oriented
