About the role
Were hiring a Product Manager to lead AI-powered experiences across our core this role youll shape the next-generation AI consumer experience that helps millions of Chime members understand their money make smarter decisions and ultimately achieve financial progress.
This is a 0->1 product management role. Youll define the vision strategy and roadmap for making AI-powered experiences more intuitive personalized and impactful translating Chimes deep relationship with the member (transaction history spending patterns goals and more) into personalized proactive and actionable insights. Youll operate at the intersection of product data and design translating rapidly evolving AI capabilities into real user-facing value.
This is a highly cross-functional role where youll partner closely with engineering data science design and research to bring new experiences to lifefrom early concept through launch and iteration. Youll be responsible for defining what great looks like: balancing innovation with trust ensuring transparency in how AI behaves and building experiences that members can rely on.
Success means proving product-market fit then evolving beyond a standalone surface into something native to every part of the Chime experience AI that feels integrated ambient and always working.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $176000.00 and up to $244000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus competitive equity package and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher depending on your location skills qualifications and experience.
In this role you can expect to
- Own product strategy and roadmap for AI-driven app experiences across key user journeys
- Translate ambiguous AI capabilities into clear user-facing product features
- Partner closely with engineering data science design and research to ship end-to-end experiences
- Define success metrics and run experiments to validate AI-driven product improvements
- Drive prioritization across multiple stakeholders balancing member needs technical feasibility and business impact
- Ensure AI features meet high standards for trust transparency and usability
- Continuously improve product quality through iteration insights and member feedback
To thrive in this role you have:
- 5 years of experience building and shipping consumer-facing product experiences within mobile or web apps taking ideas from 01
- Hands-on experience working with AI/ML-powered products or features (e.g. personalization recommendations automation)
- Strong product sense with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into intuitive user experiences
- Track record of defining product strategy and delivering measurable outcomes
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering data and design teams
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving clarity across stakeholders
- Experience using experimentation analytics and user insights to inform decisions
