We are looking for an Operational / Store Steward Manager to join our team!
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily stewarding and store operations to ensure efficient and smooth workflow
- Manage the receiving storage issuing and control of food beverage and operating supplies
- Ensure accurate inventory management stock rotation (FIFO) and proper storage practices
- Conduct quality checks on incoming deliveries to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Implement and monitor hygiene sanitation and food safety standards across stewarding and storage areas
- Supervise train schedule and develop stewarding and store associates
- Ensure proper use handling and maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Control operational costs through effective inventory planning and waste management
- Coordinate with Culinary F&B Procurement and Engineering teams for operational effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and hotel policies at all times
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in stewarding stores or operational management preferably in a hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of hygiene food safety standards and inventory control procedures
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing large operational teams
- Strong organisational communication and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced highvolume environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
- Computerliterate with knowledge of inventory or stock management systems
