Job Summary
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 10 years experience in large-scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure or railway projects of which 4 years should be at managerial level
- Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution in engineering or project management is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills with good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Passionate about driving business improvement activities with practical experience in work improvement and/or transformation program
- Self-motivated with ability to establish credibility in a new environment quickly

Responsibilities
- Formulate and orchestrate the Annual Business Improvement Plan for CWBU
- Support Capital Works leadership team in formulating business strategies to support the new railway projects development including the aspects of financial and budget management
- Drive and coordinate with respective team leaders on the development and implementation of various initiatives under the Business Improvement Programme
- Ensure the agreed initiatives are rolled out in a consistent manner for all projects in CWBU through close collaboration with respective project leaders and functional heads
- Conduct research on market best practices in railway / construction industry both locally and globally as well as make recommendations on those suitable for implementation in CWBU for continuous improvement and efficiency enhancement including process improvement organisation structure optimisation etc.
- Drive collaboration initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and implement knowledge management mechanisms in CWBU and to promote continuous improvement across teams
- Work with the CWBU Culture Steering Committee and Culture Working Group to build the desired culture
