IT Project Manager ANPR Program Federal Police (DRI)

Leading the coordination and implementation of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems within the Federal Police IT and Information Directorate (DRI). The project focuses on deploying intelligent camera infrastructure and integrating scanned vehicle plate data with law enforcement databases to support traffic safety criminal investigations and data-driven policing.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate IT-technical projects related to ANPR infrastructure and system integration
Identify improvement opportunities and propose technical solutions to enhance system performance and operational efficiency
Gather and analyse requirements from individual police zones and translate operational needs into technical solutions
Develop structured project plans timelines and implementation strategies
Monitor project progress and report on milestones risks bottlenecks and mitigation strategies
Coordinate stakeholders across multiple teams and agencies within complex operational environments
Implement quality management processes to ensure project deliverables meet required standards
Maintain project documentation and tracking through tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Contribute to future infrastructure planning including camera connectivity network architecture and system integration
