Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on IBM BPM / BAW Developer to join our development team in Amsterdam. This role is focused on the end-to-end lifecycle of Business Process Management applicationsfrom initial design and workflow enhancement to long-term maintenance. You will work within an Agile framework to deliver high-quality technical solutions that streamline complex business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow Development: Design develop and enhance IBM BPM and IBM BAW (Business Automation Workflow) applications and process models.
- System Integration: Implement and support robust integrations using REST and SOAP APIs expertly managing XML and JSON data structures.
- Technical Design: Utilize IBM Integration Designer (IID) to support sophisticated integration designs and backend development.
- UI Customization: Develop and modify user interface components using JavaScript to ensure an intuitive and functional user experience.
- Automation & Operations: Create and deploy PowerShell scripts to automate routine operational tasks and improve system reliability.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous unit testing perform root-cause analysis for defect fixing and provide high-tier production support.
- Agile Collaboration: Actively contribute to an Agile Scrum environment participating in daily stand-ups sprint planning and reviews.
- Knowledge Management: Prepare detailed technical documentation and lead Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions to ensure smooth project handovers.
Technical Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- Core Experience: 24 years of overall experience with at least 23 years of hands-on expertise specifically in IBM BPM and IBM BAW development.
- Programming Proficiency: Strong coding skills in Java and JavaScript.
- Integration Skills: Proven experience working with web services specifically REST/SOAP and data formats like XML/JSON.
- Tooling: Working knowledge of IBM Integration Designer (IID).
- Scripting: Functional experience with PowerShell for automation and task management.
- Expertise: Advanced development and debugging skills in complex enterprise environments.
Desirable Attributes
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
