Senior SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer (10 Years Experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer to join a greenfield implementation project. In this role you will be responsible for designing developing testing and supporting advanced ABAP solutions aligned with modern SAP best practices such as clean core and cloud-ready architecture.

You will work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver scalable high-quality SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop test and support ABAP objects in an S/4HANA environment
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to enhance and troubleshoot SAP functionality
• Build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
• Develop and optimize solutions aligned with S/4HANA best practices (clean core approach)
• Contribute to the end-to-end development lifecycle within a greenfield implementation

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Expertise

• 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development
• Strong experience in S/4HANA implementations (greenfield preferred)
• Deep understanding of process changes in S/4HANA environments

ABAP & Modern Development

• Hands-on experience with:
  • CDS Views
  • RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) Framework
  • Key User Extensibility & On-Stack Developer Extensibility
• Strong exposure to:
  • RICEF objects
  • Workflow Web Dynpro OData services
  • ABAP Development Tools (ADT) Eclipse
  • Support Package upgrades & ABAP Unit Testing

Fiori & UI Development

• Experience building applications using SAP Fiori Elements
• Knowledge of released APIs and best practices for custom Fiori apps
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Business Application Studio (BAS)
  • Fiori Adaptation Projects

Functional Awareness

• Good understanding of at least one SAP functional module:
  • EAM P2P FICO O2C MM etc.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of UI/UX principles
• Experience with Fiori Launchpad configuration
• Exposure to Output Management (OPD Forms)
