POSITION SUMMARY

The Inventory Manageris responsible formaintaininga perpetualrecordintegrity to ensure the inventory accuracy within the facility while maximizing space Inventory Managermonitorsinventory levels product movement control/isolates non-conforming product (damage) as defined by local and work instructions. Ensuring a conforming product mix whichfacilitatesefficient order Inventory Manager oversees the functions performed by inventory associates and other such staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Input data accurately into WMS.

  • Efficiently stack and store product in appropriatearea.

  • Maintain an

  • Develops and monitors the space layout plan to ensure it continues to meet company standards.

  • Oversee scheduled shifts andevaluatingthe working of inventory staff and subordinates.

  • Analyzes daily cycle counts and reconciles any discrepancies between physical count and perpetual record.

  • Audit the daily error report and makecorrections asnecessary.

  • Analyze and publish monthly data from WMS reportsindicatingmonthly and year-to-date totals of cycle count dollar variances.

  • Analyze stock change in/outs transactions on material for validity to the product structure.

  • Analyze miscellaneous receipts and issues and take corrective action as appropriate.

  • Distribution leader for Physical Inventory.

  • Gain complete knowledge of the on-line Inventory Audit Trail tofacilitateany research toward corrective action.

  • Drives process improvements and prepares monthlyreportsignifying major problems and updates on projects or assignments.

  • Perform other duties as assigned (In transit report shipping adjustments etc.)

  • Assistwith associate relations and training.

  • Audit warehouse daily for compliance with safety security and quality principles and a clean neat and orderly work safety among workcrew.

  • Transmit e-mails to DSV representatives and clients (whenrequired) write corrective/preventive actions complete reports for operations manager follow-up with attendance reports write counselingmemosand write/perform communications must beaccurateand professional.

  • Conduct daily startup meetings encouraging associates to provide feedback and work as a team and help with their development (training) coordinate operations with manager to ensure completion of dailyobjectives report and discuss any internal or external issues that involve the operation.

  • Providegood communicationand motivational techniques and ensure all company rules are management with informationregardinglabor/equipment needs to meet customer demands. Develop team leaders and ensure that associate expectations arebeing met.

OTHER DUTIES (Site Specific)

  • Assistmanagement as needed

  • Able toworkflexible schedules including nights and weekends as required by the operation. Participate inestablishedcross training matrix activities with the opportunity to improve their knowledge in multiple areas / departments and be able toassistas a backup associate when the need may rise.

  • Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partners with leadership team to communicate policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for theinventoryleadsassociatesand CSR within the department.

  • Ensures training and development forassociatesknowledge of product placement and equipment usage

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • 4 years experience in Distribution/Logistics experience

  • 2yearsexperienceworking ina logistics/distribution/relevant environment in a supervisory role

  • Able to operate MHE

  • Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate

Certificates Licenses Registrations or Professional Designations

  • Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program

  • Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities of product count inventory or perform other duties associated with handlingstoringand distributing client products.

  • Trained and/or certified in common Inventory managementmethodologiesand tools like six-sigma and lean.

  • Ability to develop and sustain effective and energized working relationships with leaders to influence and align people at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to teach coachmentorand support project team members to learn and master continuous improvement concepts and skills in an indirect supervisory relationship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree in Logistics Supply Chain and Operations or equivalent

  • 6 years in a 3PL

  • Current or prior MHE certification

  • Able tooperateElectric Pallet Jack and Dock Loader (Pacer) when needed
