Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care (LTC) setting. The CNA will assist patients with daily living activities monitor health status and support the healthcare team to ensure patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care and support with daily living activities
Assist patients with personal hygiene including bathing dressing and toileting
Help patients with mobility including walking standing and transferring
Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure injuries
Respond promptly to patient calls and provide appropriate assistance
Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure temperature pulse and respiration
Track and document food/fluid intake and output
Communicate patient conditions and changes to nursing staff
Support dietary needs by following patient restrictions and preferences
Maintain a clean safe and comfortable patient environment
Requirements:
Active CNA license in the state of Oregon
BLS (AHA) certification required
12 years of recent experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
