Monterey Park Hospital a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nursing Assistantfor our Med/Surg Unit. This is a full-time 12-hour night shift position reporting to the Director of Med/Surg.
Responsibilities
The Med/SurgCertified Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant (NA) receives assignments from the Charge RN and takes direction from the RN &/or LVN. The CNA/NA position is directly responsible for delivering high-quality individualized basic nursing care. The CNA/NA utilizes knowledge of the patients age developmental status spiritual and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. The CNA/NA position contributes to the provision of safety and quality nursing care that results in positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Current CA Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
Current BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
