Bethel University has an opening for a full-time Custodian to work first shift
(7:00 AM to 3:30 PM).
This individual will be responsible for cleaning assigned campus buildings and their contents using specified products and equipment and replenishing supplies as needed to maintain a clean safe and attractive physical facility according to the universitys quality standards.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Cleaning building entrances hallways classrooms restrooms laboratories offices floor and windows and their contents.
- Dry vacuuming rugs carpets and upholstered furniture periodically to remove light soil and dust
- Washing areas such as windows blinds door panels sills and woodwork using cleaning solutions poles and squeegees to remove dirt
- Polishing furniture and metalwork with oils and other solutions
- Sweeping scrubbing stripping waxing and polishing floors using brooms mops and powered scrubbing and waxing machines as needed.
- Cleaning dorm facilities in the summer months
- A commitment to support the university mission and Covenant of Lifestyle is also required.
