Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Travel Assignment
Location: Portland OR
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 5x8-Hour (11:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Friday Tuesday (Block Scheduling Required)
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Sterile Processing Technicianfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Portland OR.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform decontamination cleaning sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments
- Operate sterilization equipment and ensure compliance with infection control standards
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness functionality and proper assembly
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory
- Ensure timely availability of sterile supplies for surgical procedures
- Adhere to all safety regulatory and hospital protocols
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) (travel experience required)
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing workflows and infection prevention standards
- Ability to work independently on night shifts in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
