Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Falmouth MA
Type: Contract
Schedule: 40 hours per week Days (8:00 AM 4:00 PM 7:30 AM 3:30 PM 9:00 AM 5:00 PM) Occasional Weekends & Holidays

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Mammography Technologistfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth MA.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mammography and stereotactic imaging procedures safely and accurately
• Ensure equipment functionality and maintain MQSA compliance
• Prepare exam rooms with required equipment and patient supplies
• Review physician orders prior imaging and patient history for accuracy
• Educate patients on procedures and ensure comfort and safety
• Verify patient identity and maintain accurate documentation
• Evaluate image quality and ensure proper labeling and records
• Perform DEXA scans as required
• Maintain quality control testing and regulatory documentation
• Manage PACS workflows and ensure proper data transfer

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program
• ARRT certification
• Active Massachusetts Radiology and Mammography license
• Current BLS certification
• Experience performing 3D mammography

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced ARRT Bone Density certification
• Experience with bone density exams

Training Requirements

• Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (3D) training (8 hours)
• Digital Mammography (2D) training (8 hours)
• Must meet MQSA and ACR standards
