Warehouse Manager

Strategic & Operational Execution

• Execute the operational components of the companys strategic plan at the branch level.

• Lead daily warehouse huddles focused on safety service labor productivity and inventory accuracy.

• Review daily operating reports and address performance gapsimmediately.

Warehouse Operations & Service Delivery

• Oversee daily receiving picking staging loading and delivery coordination.

• Maintain structured quality control processes to minimize incorrect deliveries.

• Ensureaccuratestaging and load verification prior to dispatch.

• Monitor route efficiency and coordinate with drivers for timely departures.

Safety Compliance & Risk Management

• Conduct regular safety meetings and reinforce safety protocols in daily huddles.

• Promote a zero-tolerance culture for unsafe behavior.

• Monitor safety metrics including recordable incidents and close calls.

• Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to warehouse safety standards.

• Investigate incidents promptly and implement corrective action.

• Ensure proper forklift certification and equipment safety inspections.

Labor Management & Workforce Leadership

• Supervise warehouse associates supervisors and drivers (as applicable).

• Manage staffing levels to support seasonal demand.

• Control overtime usage to meet annual targets.

• Coach and develop supervisors and high-potential team members.

• Maintain adisciplinedbut positive team-oriented work environment.

Inventory Management & Accuracy

• Review daily inventory variance reports and resolve discrepanciesimmediately.

• Maintain inventoryvariance 0.5%.

• Conduct weekly cycle counts and ensure quarterly hard count compliance.

• Separate and manage slow-moving obsolete and damaged inventory.

Fleet & Equipment Coordination

• Ensure proper staging and loading to prevent vehicle damage.

• Coordinate preventive fleet maintenancescheduling.

• Monitor vehicle downtime and escalate issues proactively.

• Conduct periodic ride-alongsto assessdeliveryprofessionalism and route efficiency.

• Ensure forklifts and warehouse equipment are properlymaintained.

Cost Control & Reporting

• Manage branch-level operating expenses within approved budgets.

• Control overtime to meet company targets.

• Ensureaccuratedaily reporting and documentation.

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Operations Management Supply Chain or related field preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse or distribution leadership experience.

• Experience in wholesalelogistics or distribution preferred.

• Proven experience managing teams in fast-paced warehouse environments.

• Demonstrated ability to improve productivity and service metrics.

• Strong financial awareness related to labor and operating costs.
