Job Summary
PAY RANGE: $75k - $95k TYPE: Onsite / Menomonie WI

QUICK SUMMARY:
Looking to step into a leadership role where you can truly impact operations Prototek is hiring a CNC Operations Manager to lead our machining team drive efficiency and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Run day-to-day CNC operations across 3-axis 5-axis and lathe machining
- Lead mentor and develop supervisors and machinists
- Own production schedules and ensure on-time delivery
- Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with leadership to optimize workflow staffing and performance
- Build a strong safety-first culture on the shop floor
REQUIREMENTS: (Preferred too)
- 510 years of manufacturing or production management experience
- 5 years of CNC machining and/or programming experience (3-axis 5-axis and lathe)
- Strong knowledge of high-tolerance machining and GD&T
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced machining or job shop environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems (MIE Trak preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving communication and leadership skills
- Degree in Manufacturing Machining or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
