The stunning resort will feature 433 rooms (to include 51 impeccably designed suites and 10 spacious family suites) 65000 square feet of meeting space (40000 indoor and 25000 outdoor) a tranquil spa two 18-hole golf courses and 6 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants (rooftop southern Italian and poolside) a cocktail bar marketplace and in-room dining.

What will I be doing

A refrigeration mechanic installs maintains and repairs industrial commercial or residential cooling systems including refrigerators freezers walk-in coolers and chillers. Key duties include diagnosing electrical/mechanical faults repairing refrigerant leaks replacing compressors soldering and ensuring compliance with EPA regulations for handling refrigerants.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Installation: Installing new cooling systems components and wiring including brazing or soldering pipes and fitting in according with manufacturer specifications.

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing malfunctions in refrigeration units replacing broken parts (pumps fans motors) and repairing re-sweating or replacing refrigerant lines.

• Maintenance: Performing preventative maintenance such as checking gauges cleaning coils adjusting valves lubricating motors and recording temperatures/pressures.

• Compliance & Safety: Following EPA regulations for handling recovering and recycling refrigerants and maintaining a safe work environment.

• Documentation: Keeping accurate up-to-date records on service calls repairs and materials used.

What are we looking for

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of refrigeration principles electrical circuits and HVAC systems.

• Certifications: EPA Universal certification.

• Tools & Equipment: Proficiency in using electrical testing devices brazing equipment gauges and hand tools.

• Run diagnostics for electrical problems

• Replacement of faulty components

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.) work in confined spaces and stand for long periods.

• Education: High school diploma or GED; completion of an apprenticeship or technical HVAC/R program is highly preferred.

Preferable skills:

Troubleshooting kitchen equipment such as:

• Oven / range

• Flat top grills

• Grills

• Fryers
