The opportunity
As ourCommercial Finance Analyst you will support the sales team by providing financial analysis and insights to drive strategic decisions and maximize profitability. Reporting to theCommercial Finance Manager you will play a key role in managing budgets forecasts and strategic plans while ensuring financial processes and reporting are consistently implemented.
This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial finance experience advanced Excel skills and a passion for partnering with sales teams to deliver results.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Assist in the management and production of the quarterly rolling forecast process ensuring all functional inputs are analysed and challenged.
Analyse and interpret monthly channel trading results providing recommendations to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities.
Ensure accurate financial accruals oversee processing and payment of trading terms and reconcile payments and accruals monthly.
Prepare monthly trading results and financial performance reports by Brand Banner and Channel ensuring thorough review and communication of performance gaps.
What you will bring to the role
Relevant tertiary qualifications Commerce Finance or Accounting
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Experience within commercial finance preferably from FMCG company
Ability to build trusted relationships influence and take people on a journey
Ability to work with large data sets with Excel and preferably Power BI
