Senior Financial Analyst, Whole Foods Market E-Commerce Finance

The Core Business Growth & Ops Finance Partner serves as an embedded finance partner and technical specialist for critical E-Commerce operational workstreams. This role requires deep analytical capabilities combined with the ability to translate complex operational metrics into financial impact. The position supports multiple high-priority areas including Delivery/Pickup Subscriptions/A la Carte and Topology/Capacity requiring versatility and strong prioritization skills.

Key job responsibilities
Serve as embedded finance partner for Delivery and Pickup operations providing financial analysis and decision support
Own financial modeling and performance tracking for Subscriptions and ALC (Automated Lockers) initiatives
Support Topology and Capacity planning with financial analysis scenario modeling and investment recommendations
Develop technical financial models that connect operational drivers to P&L impact
Partner with operations teams to identify cost optimization and efficiency improvement opportunities
Provide variance analysis and actionable insights on core business performance metrics
Build and maintain dashboards that track key operational and financial KPIs
Support ad-hoc analytical requests requiring deep-dive investigation and technical expertise


- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4 years of identifying leading and executing opportunities to improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- 3 years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
- 3 years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience

- 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
