Role Summary
A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to support a high-volume procedural environment. The role involves assisting with complex vascular and neurovascular procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining high clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures (scrubbing and circulating).
Support complex peripheral vascular and neurovascular interventions.
Prepare and maintain sterile fields and procedural equipment.
Operate imaging equipment including Siemens C-arms.
Monitor patient condition during procedures and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Administer and manage contrast media.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation (Cerner experience preferred).
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency cases as needed.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience.
Proficiency in both peripheral and neuro IR procedures.
Certifications:
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
ARRT VI (Vascular Interventional) Preferred
Licensure:
Active Radiologic Technologist License State of Indiana
