Junior Editor Medical Industry
Location: Mexico (Remote)

At Dresden Partners we connect top talent with leading global companies. We are currently seeking a Junior Editor to join a dynamic editorial team within the medical industry.

This role is ideal for someone with strong editorial judgment attention to detail and experience in medical or scientific content. You will play a key role in shaping high-quality content coordinating contributors and ensuring editorial excellence across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Review journals and other sources to identify relevant studies for news coverage

• Generate and develop unique story ideas

• Assign and coordinate news coverage with freelance writers

• Edit articles to ensure clarity accuracy and editorial standards

• Select and request translations as needed

• Write news and feature articles when required

• Produce and manage newsletters

• Oversee CMS publishing workflows and resolve publishing issues

• Coordinate freelance journalists translators and copy editors

• Create review and schedule organic and paid social media content

• Track and report content performance metrics (e.g. pageviews sessions)

• Support the Senior Editor and act as a backup when needed

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Journalism Communications or a related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical journalism or related areas

• Strong medical writing and editing skills (preferred)

• Native or fluent Spanish and professional English proficiency

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with global teams

• Based in Mexico
