Your Impact at LAURIN

As a HighRise Project Manager you will be responsible for the endtoend delivery of complex multistorey residential projects from preconstruction through closeout. Working within a general contracting environment you will lead integrated project teams coordinate consultants and trade partners and maintain full accountability for scope schedule budget quality and safety. Success in this role requires strong leadership strategic thinking and the ability to manage the unique challenges of vertical construction while fostering strong client relationships and upholding LAURINs operational standards and culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage one or more highrise residential construction projects ensuring delivery meets quality budget schedule safety and client objectives.
  • Provide overall project leadership and accountability from preconstruction planning through commissioning occupancy and final closeout.
  • Collaborate with senior management internal stakeholders and project teams to identify resourcing needs priorities and project strategies specific to highrise delivery.
  • Maintain full responsibility for project budgets cost plans forecasts and cash flow ensuring financial performance aligns with project and company objectives.
  • Lead procurement strategies trade partner selection contract negotiations and change management to optimize cost quality risk and longterm relationships.
  • Work closely with Superintendents to develop and manage detailed project schedules sequencing and logistics plans including phased turnover and occupancy requirements; experience with pull planning and Lean construction methodologies is considered a strong asset.
  • Manage consultant coordination and regulatory processes supporting permitting inspections and approvals required for highrise construction.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress quality safety performance and overall project team effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present monthly project status reports financial updates and risk assessments for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address constructability challenges schedule impacts and unforeseen conditions.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of LAURIN standard operating processes across all projects under your oversight.
  • Oversee commissioning deficiency management and handover activities to ensure projects meet or exceed client and enduser expectations.
  • Support pursuits preconstruction planning budgeting and bidclosing activities for upcoming highrise projects.
  • Lead postproject evaluations and lessonslearned sessions to promote continuous improvement and knowledge transfer.
  • Mentor coach and provide performance feedback to direct reports supporting their professional growth and development.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and cultural leader consistently representing LAURINs values and commitment to excellence.


Qualifications

  • 7 years of relevant experience managing highrise or multistorey residential construction projects.
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex projects with values typically exceeding $40 million.
  • Strong leadership organizational and problemsolving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency with construction management tools and software including Microsoft Office MS Project Primavera Adobe Pro Bluebeam and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Strong working knowledge of labour laws and regulations; and constructionspecific HR and safety considerations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and conflictresolution skills.


Education & Professional Credentials

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering Construction Management Architecture or equivalent industry experience.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or LEED are considered strong assets.


Security Clearance

  • Reliability Status required (Secret preferred) or the ability and willingness to obtain the appropriate clearance.


Estimated Compensation

The salary range for this role is $120000 $160000 based on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed in your personalized offer.
