We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sausage Maker to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing seasoning and processing meat products while maintaining high standards of quality hygiene and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process meats for sausage production
- Mix ingredients and seasonings according to recipes
- Operate grinders mixers and stuffing machines
- Fill casings and portion sausages accurately
- Monitor product quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards (HACCP)
- Package and label finished products
- Assist with inventory and stock rotation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in meat processing or food production preferred
- Knowledge of sausage-making techniques is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to lift up to 25 50 lbs
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Team player with a strong work ethic
