Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Order Pickers to join our warehouse team in British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking packing and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately using pick lists or RF scanners
- Prepare orders for shipping including labeling and wrapping
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks (forklift is an asset)
- Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer or scanner knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Steel-toe safety shoes required
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment (may include cold storage depending on site)
- Standing walking and lifting for extended periods
