JOB PURPOSE
The Accounting Manager has a key role within the Finance & Accounting team responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the integrity of the companys financial records. This individual will manage balance sheet reconciliations inventory accounting SG&A expense analysis and support the monthly financial close and review process. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage both processes and people.

Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in U.S. GAAP; familiarity with IFRS a plus
- Familiarity with business intelligence / reporting tools (Power BI Tableau or similar) a plus
Marginal Job Functions:
- Knowledge of general office clerical procedures.
- Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables VLOOKUPs complex formulas)
- Ability to regularly exercise sound judgment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires occasional squatting lifting carrying pushing or pulling weight up to 20 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Equipment Operated: Ability to operate office machines and equipment and troubleshoot problems with equipment.

Potential Hazards: Exposure to materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets.
Education/Training/Certifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years experience of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Demonstrated experience with balance sheet reconciliations inventory accounting and financial close processes
- Experience in a manufacturing distribution or retail environment a plus
