Project Overview:-
- The project focuses on supporting a large-scale Data Center Co-location and Migration initiative for the NYC Department of Social Services ensuring seamless transition and integration of enterprise systems
- It requires strong expertise in middleware technologies leveraging tools like IBM Integration Bus App Connect Enterprise and IBM MQ to enable reliable system communication
- The role involves designing and maintaining integrations using Java/JEE ESQL XML and web services standards to support scalable and secure data exchange
- The engineer will work on enterprise integration patterns aligned with SOA and EAI principles ensuring optimized workflows and service orchestration across applications
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams is critical to ensure successful migration troubleshooting and continuous improvement of middleware solutions in a hybrid cloud environment including Azure and IBM DataPower
- 8 years of SDLC experience with a strong focus on middleware technologies
- 5 years of proficiency in Java/JEE ESQL XML XSD WSDL XSLT and XPath
- 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) App Connect Enterprise (ACE) IBM MQ and related development tools
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle SQL Developer MQ Explorer and working knowledge of Azure and IBM DataPower
- Strong understanding of SOA EAI and integration best practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interface between technical and business teams
