Job Summary

Senior Software Engineer

Duration: 6-18months
Location: remote

Rate on W2- $50-$60/hr

Here is a remote contract role C# .Net with Azure IoT.

Client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 7 years of experience designing and building complex distributed applications. This role focuses on rearchitecting cloud based systems to operate fully on premises in environments with no access to cloud services.

Must have excellent communication skills.

Duration: 6-18months
Location: remote

Key responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing an on premises IoT Hub to replace an existing Azure IoT Hub
Migrating messaging workflows from Azure Service Bus to an on prem messaging broker
Ensuring reliability scalability and security across all re platformed components

Required Technical Skills

.NET and C#
IoT Hub experience with strong preference for engineers who have built on prem IoT Hub solutions
Messaging broker expertise (Azure Service Bus RabbitMQ or similar)
MongoDB and SQL Server for data storage and persistence
Kubernetes for container orchestration in on prem environments
Git for source control and collaborative development
Azure DevOps (Pipelines Releases etc.) for CI/CD and deployment automation

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys deep system design solving complex architectural challenges and working across infrastructure and application layers to deliver robust on prem solutions.
