Chief Compliance Officer

The Chief Compliance Officer reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and serves as a member of the senior leadership team. This executive role encompasses duties of the Corporate Compliance Officer and maintains oversight of multiple critical functions including compliance risk management and human resources. The Chief Compliance Officer conducts compliance and risk management investigations provides education to medical staff hospital staff and the Governing Body and acts as a strategic resource to the administrative team department managers and medical staff. This role manages the administration of benefits for all facility personnel and oversees the Human Resources and Risk Management departments.

The Chief Compliance Officer position requires a combination of healthcare administrative experience educational qualifications and blended exposure to compliance and human resources.

Required Experience

• Bachelors degree in nursing clinical discipline healthcare/business administration or health information. Graduate degree preferred but not required.
• 10 years in healthcare administration with 3-5 years of healthcare compliance experience. CHC credentialing preferred but not required.
• Alternatively 10 years in healthcare human resources or operations with relevant compliance experience and/or credentialling.
• Proven team management experience.

Required Skills

• Functional knowledge of compliance HR and corporate cultural development.
• Ability to forecast program staffing budgetary space and equipment needs.
• Effective communication (verbal and written) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments balance priorities and make decisions quickly.
