Director operations Campus
Job Summary
Minimum Experience:
12-15 years of experience in managing operations at scale. Experience in running L&D function or managing academic or skilling institutions is preferred.
5 years in leadership/administrative roles with budget faculty and student management responsibilities.
Experience in managing operations planning and delivery people development and quality assurance is essential.
Preferred:
Experience in skilling vocational training or industry-aligned academic programs.
Exposure to cross-functional operations like budgeting resource management and administrative oversight.
Academic Credentials
Masters degree in relevant disciplines such as Engineering Technology Management Education or Vocational Studies.
Preferred / Stronger Candidates: -
PhD or equivalent research experience in relevant technical/management/education fields.
Postgraduate certifications in Educational Leadership Academic Administration or Pedagogy.
Specialized exposure in Industry 4.0 technologies skill development or vocational training programs.
Duties and responsibilities of Director
The Director is responsible for all academic Operations of the Campus and as such a leader with high initiative and drive to plan and lead the various activities of the Institute.
a) Academic Operations & Quality Assurance
Drive academic operational efficiency by ensuring all training programs are executed on time within scope and at the highest quality standards.
Oversee curriculum planning content development and delivery in coordination with cross-functional teams.
Ensure industry and OEM alignment for technology adoption curriculum relevance and practical skill training.
Monitor academic performance trainee outcomes and trainer effectiveness to maintain consistent training quality.
Ensure a safe and secure learning and working environment by implementing and monitoring safety protocols for students faculty and staff.
b) Campus Operations & Resource Management
Lead the day-to-day functioning of the campus ensuring seamless coordination between academic administrative and support teams.
Ensure optimum utilization of campus resources - labs equipment faculty and infrastructure.
Supervise the technical support team for OEM machines to ensure readiness maintenance and operational efficiency.
Manage budgetary planning financial control and cost optimization in line with institutional guidelines.
Uphold campus safety discipline and operational hygiene standards across all departments.
Faculty & Student Development
Hire and develop competent faculty members; implement structured Faculty Development and Training- of-Trainer (ToT) programs
Plan and conduct faculty meetings orientations and workshops to strengthen teaching
effectiveness.
Lead student development initiatives focusing on employability behavior and holistic professional growth.
c) Strategic alignment & Stakeholder Management
Liaise with cross-functional and corporate teams to align campus operations with organizational goals and strategies.
Contributes to long-term planning policy formulation and program development to drive institutional growth.
Representing the campus in collaborations with industry partners government bodies and other stakeholders.
d) Culture & Leadership
Ensure compliance with institutional policies academic standards and statutory regulations.
Foster a value-driven culture of empathy accountability and integrity aligned with Group principles.
Provide strong local leadership mentor teams and promote a safe inclusive and motivating environment for staff and students.
