We are seeking a Manager level Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) professional to join the Honeywell Industrial Automation (IA) team. This individual will be a member of the Honeywell Intelligrated (IGS) HSE Team at the Danville facility responsible for driving HSE continuous improvement compliance and engagement within our manufacture site. The role reports to the IGS Director HSE and has direct reports.
As an HSE Manager the successful candidate must be results driven and able to develop strong relationships with the site leadership team. The candidate must be compliance focused and provide hands-on support with the ability to deploy continuous improvement through a strong MOS; to drive goals objectives improve culture and behaviors.
We are looking for a strong people and process leader capable of managing coaching/mentoring an HSE professional and site supervision at the Danville facility. The individual must be a well-rounded leader that can manage health safety and environmental programs in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing a compliance strategy; both Honeywell HSE Management System and regulatory requirements at a manufacturing location.
- Heavy focus on injury reduction through culture and behaviors initiatives.
- Leading the execution of the Honeywell Intelligrated (IGS) HSE vision and mission through deployment of the HSE ISC Management System.
- Partner with the site leadership team to achieve the IGS ISC goals and objectives.
- Ability to reduce the risk profile in Danville by identifying gaps through self-assessment audits GEMBAs and 3rd party inspections.
- Strong ability to use Honeywell Manufacturing Excellence (HMX)/Lean Practices and Principles to develop deploy and continuously improve HSE results and improve efficiency.
- Work in concert with Industrial Automation (IA) HSEPS to assure consistent and effective auditing of regulatory requirements and Honeywell Level 1 and Level 2 Standards.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree in safety engineering or related technical field.
- At least 8 years of progressive health safety and environmental experience with increased responsibility.
- Leadership experience in managing people.
- Knowledge and experience in manufacturing environment.
- Professional Certification a Plus (i.e. ASP CSP CIH etc)
