Job Title: Product Engineer

Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Fuquay-Varina NC 27526
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM 4:00 PM with possible overtime)

Job Summary:

Entry-level engineering role supporting product verification and validation (PV&V) activities. This position focuses on testing analysis and evaluation of product performance and reliability working closely with cross-functional teams in a structured engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate testing and validation activities for product development projects
• Support design analysis and feasibility testing under guidance of senior engineers
• Review test results from engineers technicians and lab teams to evaluate product performance
• Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist in drafting engineering standards test procedures and documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering manufacturing quality supply chain)
• Prepare reports and presentations on test progress and product performance
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure data integrity

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Agricultural Engineering or related field
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Basic understanding of product testing and validation processes
• Good project coordination and communication skills
• Experience with meeting facilitation note-taking and issue tracking

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Experience in product development environments
• Exposure to lawn care equipment or off-highway machinery
• Knowledge of test standards and engineering documentation
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau)
• Ability to work across multiple teams/functions
