Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Eatontown NJ 07724
Shift: 1st Shift / 2nd Shift

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing installation maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment in a medical device production environment. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical electrical and electronic systems to ensure smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation maintenance and repair of manufacturing and plant equipment
• Diagnose equipment failures and replace defective components
• Troubleshoot mechanical electrical electronic and vacuum systems
• Interpret technical drawings schematics manuals and specifications
• Maintain maintenance logs and documentation
• Use hand tools power tools and testing equipment
• Support process improvements and equipment optimization
• Assist in redesign or modification of existing equipment when required
• Estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions

Technical Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support across production maintenance and operations
• Perform testing and troubleshooting using schematics and diagrams
• Collect and analyze technical data for reporting and improvements
• Support process improvements and operational efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and electronic systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics blueprints and technical documents
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repair
• Familiarity with tools testing equipment and maintenance procedures
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Education:

• Vocational/technical training or certification preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice to Have:

• Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of process improvement and equipment optimization
• Ability to guide or support junior technicians
