Job Summary:
Responsible for performing installation maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment in a medical device production environment. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical electrical and electronic systems to ensure smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation maintenance and repair of manufacturing and plant equipment
Diagnose equipment failures and replace defective components
Troubleshoot mechanical electrical electronic and vacuum systems
Interpret technical drawings schematics manuals and specifications
Maintain maintenance logs and documentation
Use hand tools power tools and testing equipment
Support process improvements and equipment optimization
Assist in redesign or modification of existing equipment when required
Estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions
Technical Responsibilities:
Provide technical support across production maintenance and operations
Perform testing and troubleshooting using schematics and diagrams
Collect and analyze technical data for reporting and improvements
Support process improvements and operational efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and electronic systems
Ability to read and interpret schematics blueprints and technical documents
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repair
Familiarity with tools testing equipment and maintenance procedures
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Education:
Vocational/technical training or certification preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Nice to Have:
Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environment
Knowledge of process improvement and equipment optimization
Ability to guide or support junior technicians
