Summary:

• Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to define the product operating environment.

• Support product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods finite element modeling/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.

• Define and document certification and test results to demonstrate compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

• Work with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Aerospace Aeronautical Civil or Structural Engineering (must be included on resume).

• 12 years of related experience in aircraft stress analysis.

• Strong experience with finite element analysis (FEA) tools (e.g. NASTRAN ANSYS Abaqus).

• Proficiency in stress analysis methods including static fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.

• Experience with metallic and composite structures.

• Knowledge of FAA certification processes and airworthiness requirements.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings specifications and standards.

• Experience with test correlation and validation of analytical models.

• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel Word PowerPoint).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
