Job Title: AWS DevOps Platform Engineer

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune India

Role Overview/Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Platform DevOps Engineer to design implement and manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation and platform reliability engineering ensuring scalable and secure deployment environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design implement and maintain scalable secure and reliable AWS infrastructure solutions.
• Develop automation scripts and tools for continuous integration (CI) continuous deployment (CD) and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Optimize system performance ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
• Maintain containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Amazon ECS/EKS.
• Develop and Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or AWS CodePipeline.
• Collaborate with development operations and security teams to integrate and automate processes.
• Manage logging monitoring and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana or similar tools.
• Troubleshoot debug and resolve issues across development test and production environments.
• Ensure compliance with best practices in security scalability and cost optimization on AWS.
• Document processes designs and systems for knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.

Required Skills:

8 years of experience

Cloud Expertise:

o Hands-on experience with core AWS services like EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC IAM CloudFormation and CloudFront.

o Experience with AWS management and automation tools (AWS CLI SDKs CloudFormation or Terraform).

DevOps Practices:

o Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles and practices.

o Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform AWS CDK or Ansible.

o Experience with Git version control systems and workflows.

Containers and Orchestration:

o Proficiency in Docker.

o Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes Amazon EKS or ECS.

Automation and Scripting:

o Proficiency in scripting languages like Python Bash or PowerShell.

o Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible Chef or Puppet.

Monitoring and Logging:

o Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch CloudTrail ELK stack or third-party tools like Datadog Prometheus and Grafana.

Networking and Security:

o Knowledge of VPC VPN Load Balancers and Route 53.

o Familiarity with security best practices including IAM policies security groups and data encryption.

Soft Skills:

o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

o Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
