Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC isa compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a long-term care team in Hot Springs South Dakota. This 13-week contract assignment involves providing high-quality daily care to residents while ensuring dignity comfort and safety in a skilled nursing environment.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming toileting and mobility Monitor and record vital signs intake/output and resident condition Assist with feeding and ensure proper nutritional intake Maintain a clean safe and supportive environment for residents Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs Assist with transfers repositioning and mobility support Document care provided accurately according to facility standards Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in South Dakota or compact/eligible state Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible rotating shifts Compassionate patient-focused and dependable approach to care Ability to safely assist with resident mobility and physical care requirements
