To reinforce our Travel Retail team based in Bienne we are looking for a:

Key Account Executive Travel Retail (100%)

JOB PURPOSE

As a Key Account Executive Travel Retail you will support the management and development of a portfolio of travel retail customers across airport retail airlines (inflight) and cruise channels.

You will contribute to driving sales growth ensuring excellent execution at the point of sale and supporting the implementation of commercial and marketing strategies.

Working closely with senior account managers and cross-functional teams you will play an active role in achieving sales targets and strengthening customer relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Management & Sales Support

  • Support the management of a portfolio of travel retail customers

  • Assist in achieving quarterly and annual sales targets

  • Follow up on orders reorders and stock levels with clients

  • Support assortment optimization and product selection per customer

  • Participate in business reviews and client meetings

Business Development

  • Contribute to identifying new business opportunities and potential clients

  • Support onboarding of new customers within the travel retail channel

  • Assist in expanding distribution and improving sales performance

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners

  • Act as a point of contact for day-to-day client requests

  • Support regular client visits and ensure follow-up on action plans

  • Monitor customer satisfaction and service quality

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track sell-in sell-out and stock levels across accounts

  • Support sales forecasting and reporting processes

  • Analyze performance data and highlight risks or opportunities

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders

Marketing & Retail Execution

  • Support the implementation of trade marketing and promotional activities

  • Coordinate product launches and in-store activations

  • Monitor the performance of new product introductions

Product & Brand Support

  • Assist in product presentations and seasonal launches

  • Support training sessions for retail staff (products brand selling techniques)

  • Act as a brand ambassador ensuring strong brand visibility and consistency


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing or related field

  • Commercial education is also acceptable

  • 13 years of experience in sales account management or a similar role

  • Experience in watches jewellery luxury or FMCG is a plus

  • Exposure to international or travel retail environments is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus

  • Fluent in English (mandatory)

  • French is a strong plus; additional languages are an advantage

  • Strong commercial mindset and willingness to learn

  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Proactive hands-on and solution-oriented attitude

  • Team player with strong collaboration skills

  • Willingness to travel regularly

  • Strong motivation to develop within a fast-paced international environment
