About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Stores person/ Forklift Driver to join our clients busy production warehouse. This is a hands on role in a busy warehouse environment working alongside industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong forklift experience and a background handling bulky or ugly freight. This is a hands on role where organisation and efficiency are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unloading deliveries and checking in goods
- Picking and packing orders
- Operatingreplenishments on a forklift (High Reach)
- General housekeeping and maintaining a safe workspace
- Reporting to the Warehouse Manager
Work Environment:
Clean and well organised warehouse that houses machinery including CNC press brake laser and turret machines.
Requirements:
- Current forklift licence (essential)
- Previous warehousing experience
- Experience handling bulky/irregular freight
- Strong focus on safety and teamwork
PPE Requirements:
- Steel-capped boots
- Hi-vis clothing
