A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Medical/Surgical unit. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care ensuring safety comfort and optimal outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to medical and surgical patients
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care
Ensure adherence to patient safety and infection control protocols
Schedule & Work Details
12-hour day shifts
3 days per week (36 hours/week)
Rotating schedule based on facility needs
Experience & Requirements
Previous experience in Medical/Surgical nursing preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Licensure & Certifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required (State of New York or compact if applicable)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA preferred)
