Job Description

IDS is seeking a SeniorLevel User Experience (UX) Designer to support the Analysis and Mitigation mission through UX design and frontend development for Agentic Knowledge Management Systems. The designer will conduct user research develop frontend solutions and maintain UX documentation to support integration with backend systems and mission workflows.

Key Duties

Write and maintain frontend code to implement UX designs
Design and conduct user interviews surveys and usability tests to identify trends insights and opportunities for improvement
Develop frontend components using modern web technologies
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend code with existing backend services
Ensure frontend implementations meet performance accessibility and crossbrowser compatibility requirements
Develop and maintain UX documentation including design guidelines style guides technical plans milestones and user guides

Requirements

Bachelors degree with eight (8) years of relevant experience or Masters degree with six (6) years or Doctoral degree with four (4) years
Alternatively Associates degree with ten (10) years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED with twelve (12) years of relevant experience
Experience working in Agile development environments
Experience with HTML CSS JavaScript
Experience with modern frontend frameworks including React and
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Compensation

Salary range: $145000 $165000
