Job Summary
Applies orthopedic treatment items/technologies to patients upon the order of a physician. Assists in the care of the orthopedic patient including care of fractures casting and suture removals. Assists with minor office procedures. Schedules surgeries.
Education and Training
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Attendance and graduation from Orthopedic Technology program preferred.
- BLS required.
Experience
- Two (2) to four (4) years experience preferred.
Other Skills Competencies and Qualifications
- Medical terminology required
- Must have and maintain technical computer skills
